Nalchaa

The easternmost continent is a land of great history and spiritual energy where gods once walked the earth and sacred temples outmatch those anywhere else in the world. The many legends of Nalchaa serve as ethnic history to the unique peoples of the land like Kitsune being created by Daikini and the lost floating city of the Tengu but others explain the horrid monsters called that seem to defy the laws of nature, those called yokai. Owing to the times of the gods & their entries to other planes of existence Nalchaa is a place where the veil between life and death is thin and restless spirits otherworldly beings may manifest as creatures looking for revenge.
The terrains here vary from the great swamps to vast rainforests frozen mountain towns. The continent has been united under one imperial government for millennia though the Chaos Cataclysm has split territory to the eastern coast and caused secession movements along the sea.
