Pixies

The incredibly small humanoids are one of Cronqvist's most unique residents. Pixies are the sister race to fairies with many differences to the keen observer such as their wings. The creatures resemble humans almost perfectly except they are only a small fraction of the height and bear wings like those of butterflies and moths while fairies have translucent wings with draconic shapes, like those of a sausage fly, and their skins may be shades of green. Pixies are nimble, but delicate beings who can be easily squashed if caught by their adversaries. Their diminutive stature and insectoid wings have given most societies a disregard for their lives so pixies often live in isolated societies made of hanging huts in trees. The species they often relate to best is the gnomes, the other small folk of Casway surrounded by giants. One of the most curious things about the pixie race is it appears to be entirely female, leaving the layman no idea how they reproduce. These fey travel to and from the Feyglade remarkably freely, while most humanoids would need powerful spell to move between planar realms the pixies can travel through small gateways in the Archtrees just as the Wood Elvs did 500 years ago. They only do this in the summer of every third year and at any other time they are as powerless to find an archtree as a humanoid wandering the vast forests, even under duress of torture. They do this for some otherworldly mating ritual and once they return to the branches where they make their village they lay an ovules, green eggs that look like flower buds. Pixies play no parental roles besides protecting their village's ovules together while they germinate over roughly 2 months until hatching into a fully grown adult capable of speech and reason. It is unclear if pixies inherit some memories from their mothers or are born with a magical gift of knowledge. Pixies always have the names of flowers and many follow deities related to nature or Trisgia.

A pixie’s base land speed is 5 feet. She also has a fly speed of 20 feet (perfect).
With heavy encumbrance, or armor that isn't light, she cannot fly.
Low-light vision.
Skills: Pixies have a +2 racial bonus on Forgery, Escape Artist, and Knowledge (The Planes), but only when applying to the Faeglade & its creatures. She may use these skills untrained.
Racial Feats: A pixie receives Weapon Finesse as a bonus feat.
Special Attacks: Spell-like abilities.
Automatic Languages: Common, Sylvan. Bonus Languages: Elven, Gnomish, Auran, Terran, Spirit Tongue.
Favored Class: Sorcerer.
