Shael

Deity of rock who supposedly takes the form of a shapeless storm of gravel. They are the child of Shān Gui and the patron of travelers. Many who take on long journeys, particularly those crossing dangerous terrain, may offer prayers to Shael is hopes they will prevent rack slides and earthquakes. Shael does not cause these disasters to demand prayers, as their father did, as such tyranny is forbidden since the First Epoch. Monuments to Shael may be found all along roadsides in the form of stone stacks called cairns. These have become the deity's symbol.

• Bonus: Followers of Shael can roll Knowledge (Geography) untrained as if it were a trained skill. If they are trained in the skill they gain a +2 religion bonus.
