First Epoch

The First Epoch is the culmination of many events that marks the beginning of the common recorded historical timeline. While there are many recorded events and records of different civilizations throughout time most are measured from local events and arbitrary markers until the First Epoch. The event itself was the conquering of the heavens by the new goddess of order, Nesidth, that began with the falling of Susanoh from the heavens. After drinking the blood of Susanoh Urthemiel McBain, the first empress of Nalchaa, went into the temple of Izanami for slept for three days under the watch of her five generals as an eclipse blackened the sky and the clouds turned red as blood. On the third night she awoke and spoke into the minds of all living beings, showing her sigil as she said unto us:

"I am Nesidth, the goddess of order and all things beautiful. Know my name and my mark and obey my laws and the laws of the land. For I am the god of this world and I have come to wreak vengeance upon the heavens for mankind and reforge this chaotic world as I see fit. So long as my heiresses sit upon the Onyx Throne the land shall have peace."

The sun rose a new color at the next dawn and for the next 8 days Order fed upon the blood of the old elemental gods. This overthrowing of the old ways caused uncontrolled tsunamis, earthquakes, and fires across the land until the end when none under the violet sun could deny the world had a new order. And time itself was born anew.
