Knights of Greygor (GRAY-GORE)
The Holy Knights Of Greygor "Dead God of Valor/War" were once the most valiant and brave humans to walk the surface of Cruul. Formed in the second age of man, these Knights refused no quest to slay evil enemies of the Gods, no matter their size or locationq, and they received no compensation but honor and respect . Though they would take solum oaths against monetary payment, The Knights lived lavishly wherever they traveled, with Kings and Queens dedicating entire fortunes to building Greygorian Halls to service and home the Knights wherever they may find themselves. Almost all Greygorian Knights died in battle ultimately- after all, that is the goal of all Greygorian Knights.
History.
In the Second Age of man, human and Giant alike formed a knightly order to actively seek out evil threats before they became a real problem. The Knights were given special blessings from Greygor that aided them on their crusades. The Knights of Greygor were beloved to all humankind and well respected by dwarves as well.Modern.
Today the Greygorian knights are no more. With The God of valor dead and gone, the order dwindled and died over 900 years ago. There are rare reports of lone faithfuls who still walk this path, but it is hard to tell if those stories are true or just children's fancy. But some think it is very possible that there are still individuals trying to reach the Table of Greygor's Eternal Feast.Structure
Each knight was master of his own sword and body, with no leader or commander to give orders. Greygor guided the hand and path, Knights would need to be Knighted by an existing Knight and then added to the Greygorian Log in the Hall of Greygor. A knight would spend his life looking to fall in honorable battle- only then earning the right to eat and drink for eternity at the table of Greygor and the Eternal feast.

The knights were recorded to be kind and calm warriors who respected law and logic. Kingdoms welcomed them openly as entire populously looked up top them.
Public Agenda
The Knights of Greygor were monster hunters until the Giant Wars where they became Giant slayers. This is what claimed almost all the Greygorian Knights.
Disbandment
After the fall of Greygore in the Giant Wars, the Knights slowly fell out off fashion. In the final days of the Order reports of false Knights and wayward fallen Knights spread across the human lands, leading people to not trust the Greygorian armor and garb on sight anymore.
Tenets of Faith
Each Knight swore to the oaths of Greygor.
- I have no hands for these belong to Greygor.
- I have no sword for this one belongs to Greygor.
- I have no life for this one belongs to Greygor.
- I have one path and it leads to Greygor.
- Never cower, never retreat, never refuse a chance at honorable death.
Ethics
Knights of Greygor kept strict ethical standards against evil and did everything they could to find a way to battle it. They swore oaths to never surrender or ask for mercy, to never retreat or run from honorable battle and to never direct receive payment or reward for their services.
