Dark Crystal

The Dark Crystal is one of eight Elemental Crystals, whose formation coincided with that of the world itself. A powerful force of nature, its presence helps keep the world in balance, allowing life as people know it to grow and prosper. It has a distinctive purple color to it. It is considered one of the "Four Lost Crystals" due to its original master being killed by the forces of the Dark Lord before it could be awakened. As a result, it lay dormant for a millennium until a new generation of warriors could fully restore its power. In the case of the Ice Crystal, that hero was a woman named Mymdis--a seemingly ordinary human from the future who traveled back in time with the other modern "Lost Warriors" to save their future from the Dark Lord's resurrection.

Significance

The Lightning Crystal was formed alongside the seven other Elemental Crystals: Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Ice, Lightning, and Holy.
