Stormroses (storm/rOhzes/)

The Stormroses are a group of Mages who seek to understand and use powerful magic to defend their homeland and improve the lives of those within, for a small fee of course. Some of them also teach classes. It is also said that being allies with a Stormrose has great political influence, and a strong allyship between two or more states. This is an especially impressive feat considering that they try not to play sides in the political scene.

History

The first Great Sage Igorim decided that a strong, central organization was needed to keep the magic arts flowing and monsters at bay, so he gathered the region's strongest mages, and formed a guild. One of its most esteemed members was none other than the legendary Ranaeril Morhorn.

Disbandment

Once weapons and communications technology grew more complex, urban sprawl took over, and the monsters died off, the Stormroses were not needed anymore.
