The Dreaded Dreams of Itzehiel

Sometime during Itzehiel's research, he somehow dreamt a many-eyed abomination into existence, this was the first beholder.

These creatures are powerful and very intelligent, matching that of their creator, they are created when a being that knows more than any mortal should do dreams of one such creature. The Beholder then becomes reality and most likely kills the beings who dreamt it into existence.
