Viscount Kazem Dravini
A Dravini Lord from before the war, husband to Lady Kheyri.
The First Generation, Kazem, and Kheyri:
This family tree starts at the union between Kazem Dravini, born in 650, and Kheyri Dravini, born in 654, who were engaged in the year 675, it is worth to note that the war with The Spearnia Dominion started seven years prior, one which would strike the Dravini name hard, as it would with many other families. In addition, those a bit more in the know with history very much would recall that Kazem and Kheyri Kheyri carried the same name, and indeed the same blood as they were cousins. This very much is reflected in the Dravini family, whom at that time, like many other houses didn’t mind inter-family marriages. Dravini Prior to Kazem and Kheyri are unfortunately lost to time as the many records where lost in the dark period that soon followed the union between these two but suffice it to say that the Dravini house was a rather closed family that preferred to keep things in the family, so to say. But as the seed was strong, Kazem fathered six strong sons, Jaffar, in 665, Omid, born in 667, Kamyar, born in 674, Siamak, born in 688, Morteza, born in 689, and Kamran, born in 690 and one beautiful daughter Samira, born in 712. Quite some sons, especially that having more than three sons is seen as a faux pas, among metallics in any case, as it is not about the number of sons but their prowess and strength, this is explained by the fact, that due to untimely deaths, Kazem never had more than three sons. Things seemed to go well, was it not for the war that would turn out so sour for the Dragonborn regents of The Veglye Province, known as “The war of Spear and Scale” that would last from 668 till 740. The domain of the dragonkin was called “scála sciatháinthe” at that point, which roughly translates to “The Realm of Scale and Wings”. This war, however, shall be discussed on a later date, but there are two fateful battles that are of special importance here, which we would now know as, “The battles of the Rormont River” in the cinque of ice of 688 and “The Heroic Stand of Lord Bryan” of the cinque of Fire in 709. During which the six sons of Kazem perished in a heroic battle, leaving the elderly Kazem without any offspring. Samira was hatched three years later, Kazem who was 62 at that point died seven years later, the elderly Kheyri overtaken by grief committed suicide, leaving their seven your-old daughters, and only bearer of the Dravini blood in the care of her husband, Cassius Petrus Dravini. There are rumors, and people who value their life should pay little to no head to these, that speak of the sixth son, Kamran, the youngest of the six that perished during the war that would indicate that he never did, and instead suggest that he either ran away and fled or that he defected to the other side, this could be the reason that various history books never even mention Kamran and that some family trees have Kamran burned out, however, these rumors are just that, rumors and there could be many reasons for this.FAMILY TREE NOT AVAILABLE
