For as long as there have been Devils and Demon, there have been Tiefling. With the origin of every Tiefling being different, there is not a singular answer to where Tiefling comes from. Many have studied their occurrence and have come to the general conclusion that they are close connected to fiendish influences, from the mere act of dealing with one causing one’s unborn offspring to become Tiefling to returning as one when one is sent to the hells or the abyss as part of a summoning. And with the offspring of a Tiefling being most likely not as their parent, you can be certain that some sort of fiend has mingled with their past.
And even though most creatures would kill a young Tiefling on sight they won’t, and no one knows why. Maybe some sort of fiendish blessing or the similarity to their parents. Most Tiefling live in the Auran Region, where they mostly work as overseas traders. Many Have seen the Veiled Auran traders, but few know their true nature.
