While her brother Ratka enjoyed getting muddy and playing with his swords and barking orders, Damia possessed the ability to use her surroundings to her advantage and stay hidden in various circumstances. Even at a young age, she was bright and knew much about what was going on in the camp. She was captivated by the stories that her father Stanimir told her of his time as a preformer: about him lifting some gold off various oblivious bystanders and how he was able to make people spill even their worst secrets. She was still young when he told her the first traits of a thief, how to stay out of sight, and above all how to listen. Being a Vistani, she learned that her visage is not always appreciated. and she learned how to disguise and blend in to gather the information she needs.
Other than her trait, she enjoys reading. Especially history enthralls her, but in Barovia much history has been lost. During her travels she has picked up some books, but she knows that taking information from outside the mists is a dangerous hobby. Thus the few books she takes are carefully hidden away in her wagon.
