Captain of the Twilight Rangers

The Captain of the Twilight Rangers runs the arm of the Twilight City Police Force specialised in law-enforcement in the Twilight Badlands, beyond the city's dome.
From general police work, like solving crimes, to protecting farmers from aggressive bug infestations, and even to dispensing small claims justice, the Captain of the Twilight Rangers is the ultimate avatar of the law outside of the main city. All the Ranger Sheriffs from different districts report directly to him, although deputies will rarely speak directly to the Captain, and the title carries weight through the whole badlands.
The role involves apportioning resources, personel and funding to various smaller outposts in the badlands, as well as maintaining peace in all settlements in the Twilight Badlands region. 
The Captain traditionally lives in Morningstar Village in a special house - nicer than most - beside the Twilight Rangers HQ. Some incumbents of the role are more hands on than others. The current incumbent of the role, Jackson R Verducci, is renowned for being the most fearsoe captian of the Twilight Rangers to date.

The Drug Barons

Traidtionally, the Drug Barons, as major crimes, did not fall under the jurisdiction of the Twilight Rangers, but instead under the Twilight Police's Major Crimes unit. However, during his tenure as Captain of the Twilight Rangers, Jackson R. Verducci, Twilight Ranger has made it his personal mission to monitor the area for the activity of the Drug Barons. While previous Captains passed intel and information to higher ups within , and thwarted the occasional drug run, Verducci pressed for new laws and more funding to be put into effect, to allow him to press harder on drug activity within the badlands.
