Belmont
Gets it's name from Belmont Timber company, which started wood logging in this valley in the 2030s. Valley and mountainsides are long since stripped bare, but some wood cultivation is still going on. Most of the business is processing now.
It's an industrial estate with various businesses - not only in wood processing. Enormous automotive plant was built in the 2045 to exploit huge, cheap and relatively educated workforce. It's mostly automated now, but still dominates this neighborhood, disrupting traffic.
Residential district in the middle of the valley is not as unpleasant as you might think. But there is still noise and dust from all the industry and traffic, freak valley weather with sudden winds and torrential rains and labored roaring of cargo planes landing and taking off. No wonder Valleyits are famed for their strong sense of community even in adverse times.
