As the name suggests, this booster gang chose the heartfelt simplicity of brute force as their strategy. The concept proved successful, if unimaginative.
Metal Shock troopers are heavily augmented, and wear armor and weapons openly. Stimulants addiction is almost total in the ranks. Internal relationships and hierarchy are according to a type of "warrior's code". It has regulations about loot, squad leadership, challenges, and so on. Shockers seem to take all of it seriously, while outsiders find the workings of the code ridiculous and stupid. They cannot be denied a certain dramatic appeal though, and it seems like top ranks of Metal Shock found a way to popularize and monetize the image.
Venues affiliated with the gang host the best gladiator fights, augmented animal fights, and speedracing events, boosting the income. The legendary Battlecage club attracts a huge crowd, including tourists and bored corpos hungry for a whiff of forbidden fruits. Drama and mystique of the warrior way attract countless new recruits, mostly excitable youth. Strength in numbers has led Metal Shock to dominance on the black market for weapons, assault vehicles, and heavy combat cyberwear.
The high seat of the gang is Foothill but loud and bloody Metal Shock squads cause trouble all over 7C.
