They both met at a party at one of the venues Akira-chan is used to perform. Hélène was a starting social influencer and they both already knew about the other. They realized that they had much in common and started seeing each other more often as friends. In time, they both saw that there was more to this friendship and took the next logical step and started dating. There's not much flair to their story and they like it that way. Not everything needs to be overly complicated or tragic, especially in Night City.

Akira calls Hélène "Len" or "花" pronounced "Hana". Meanwhile Hélène calls her "Aki-chan" or "chérie".

Both are friends with a performer that goes by the handle "Rammstein". They met at many shows in which they performed together.
