Kara and Anza were friends since early elementary, often hanging out and playing video games together. They shared many interests, but that didn't include Kara's interest in ghosts and ghost hunting.
Despite Anza's protests to the contrary, Kara decided to go ghost hunting. She investigated a warehouse she thought to be abandoned, but was discovered by someone inside. They turned out to be Masako Katsuki, who was not pleased with Kara's intrusion, and spirited her away to Katsuki Heart to be "cyborged."
