Mount Celestia
The Celestial Plane of Lawful Good
Mount Celestia, also known as the Seven Heavens or Seven Mountains, is the lawful-good aligned celestial Plane of Existence adjacent to Ashra in The Astral Sea. The Mountains are populated by angels; beings of inherit lawful-good that adamantly serve the benevolent aspects of Ashra. After the inadvertent creation of Cynos, Mount Celestia became the final resting place for the souls of the lawful-good mortals who die there. All aspects of Mount Celestia are beautiful and perfect.

The Seven Heavens
Mount Celestia comprises seven layers that jointly form a colossal mountain rising from a sea of holy water. A traveller would enter one layer at its lowest point and exit at its highest, so moving from one layer to the next equates to travelling up Mount Celestia as a whole. The First Heaven: Lunia
Lunia, also called the Silver Heaven, serves essentially as a gateway to the rest of Mount Celestia. From its beach of silver sand one can still see the Astral Sea and the star-like souls that twinkle therein. The Second Heaven: Mercuria
The Second Layer is also known as the Golden Heaven because a warm light suffuses everywhere. Gentle hills and lush valleys make up the landscape, and great tombs and monuments dedicated to noble heroes stand tall. Mercuria also houses Mount Celestia's armoury and serves as the marshalling ground for the armies of Heaven should the realm ever fall under attack. The Third Heaven: Venya
Also called the Pearly Heaven, or the Heaven of Pearls, Venya is a lush and verdant land with crops, meadows, moors and hills all bathed in the soft, white glow of a pearly sky. Slightly colder than the previous two layers, the hills of Venya are often seen dusted with a fine layer of snow. The Fourth Heaven: Solania
Solania is also called the Electrum Heaven, or the Crystal Heaven. It's sky glows like burnished silver and it's valleys are permeated by a misty fog and strange scents. The hills are host to many rich mineral and ore deposits. The Fifth Heaven: Mertion
Also known as the Platinum Heaven, Mertion has a sky similar to Solania's, but a flatter landscape. Plains and savannahs serve as a mustering ground for Paladins and other holy warriors. Instead of mountains, Mertion's horizon is lined with majestic citadels. The Sixth Heaven: Jovar
The Sixth Heaven is also called the Glittering Heaven, or the Heaven of Gems. The hills are studded with precious stones that twinkle in the light. The entire layer is in fact a vault, lined floor to ceiling with huge rubies and garnets that glow like hearth fire. A huge, pyramid-shaped temple stands tall in the centre of Jovar. Its bricks are made of precious stones, just like the surrounding hills, and its mighty staircases descend downward to all five other layers of Heaven below. From atop the temple, one can access the seventh and final layer of Heaven. Planetars stand guard there at all times. The Seventh Heaven: Chronias
The topmost and final layer of Heaven, Chronias is also called the Illuminated Heaven. Little is known of its structure or layout because, of the few who ever visited and returned, none ever recorded anything. According to legend, Chronias is so good and lawful that any who entered had all traces of evil, chaos and neutrality burned out of them, leaving them a paragon of law and good—if they survived.Inhabitants
All permanent residents of Mount Celestia are either angels native to the plane, or the souls of lawful-good mortals who arrived postmortem. Anyone else found in the Seven Heavens is merely a visitor.Angels
There are three types of angels that live in Mount Celestia: Deva, Planetars and Solars.Deva
The bulk of the population is made up of Deva. These angels tend to the fields, mingle with souls, and otherwise promote the lawful-good nature of the realm. Though very capable of fighting, combat is not their intended or preferred purpose.Planetars
The protectors of the Seven Heavens, Planetars make up the vast majority of the Heavens' defence force. Often seen flying overhead or patrolling access points between layers, Planetars keep a constant and vigilant eye out for invaders.Solars
By far the most powerful of Celestia's angels, Solars were also the fewest in number, equalling exactly five. Almost akin to demigods, Solars answered directly to Ashra himself, and their command carried his authority. Each was an embodiment of one of Ashra's five divine domains.
