Technically Dustborn (or some variant), they have made a pact with the Elyll, Cerridwen the Arcane. She provides them with chaotic magic in exchange for their souls.

Through Cerridwen's profane magic, they can elongate their lifespans.

The three best-known witches in Abred at present are: Och, Garym, and Diasbad, who live in the marshes of Corswyth.
