Lineages

You are neither the first nor last of your ilk to walk these lands, you may carve a new path entirely your own, or bind yourself to heroes of old by associating with one of the following lineages that exists in the world. These lineages offer no immediate mechanical benefit, however some family heirlooms, guarded rituals or special titles may be hereditary and only accessible to members of a given lineage.
While some lineages are clearly associated with a specific class (e.g. druid circles), others like the mercenary or merchant guilds are more broad of purpose. In either case, you do not need to belong to any specific class to be associated with any specific lineage.
