The orden of the Griffin
This organization dates of years after the The two four war Once a pride and renowed organization, recognized by all races, legends say the order was fundamental in an ancient war no one remembers, if then was no record of that, now nobody mention it.
The organization was divided, by political reasons in three branches: humans, elves and others.
The elves, in arrogance, start to separate from others because they, and only they, knew how to mantain, train, care and became a real army; the humans, they tought was similar but they isolated the other races, by height, by weight behind any pretext to make the "other branch" even without griffons.
Then the great war came, the dwarven/minos alliance know that a flight based confrontation, even skirmishes, would be a lost cause; then, they start to strike isoleted post of the order before they can react.
As a meausure to ensure the survival of the giffins the human, part of the order developt a plan to leave the griffins on an island to breed and ask the mage's court to ensure his safety: They enchant the sea and, at least the legend say, the island too.
Now the order is a rebel organization trying to reach the island and unite the giffins and they raiders once more and flight against the minos.

They are working, in secrecy, to reach the griffin island in the The black void sea to again be the ancient order of the griffin, have the former glory, honor and renown back.
Some years ago a group of dwarfs, with the same ideology about the ancient war and the crimes also they peers commit, join the order; they have an idea to reach, safetly, the island.

The order is nomadic, they use at least 3 human towns and a dwarven citadel to train, gather supplies and plan the future.
Since the time some dwarves became a part of the organization, they have a base camp near the Black sea, the new plan concocted by this new allies, is in motion; they have powerful conections or the minos have a short memory; because the stone bridge they are building is a fact and no one is interfiring with it.
