This disease can only be contracted by the divine spell Withering Curse cast by a follower of Morbus and Fatum: The Twins and had no other means of transmission

Symptoms

The disease per se has no symptoms instead of manifesting its own physical indicators, the disease acts as a catalyst, exacerbating existing conditions. Individuals afflicted with the Withering Sickness are at heightened risk of succumbing to infections, even from minor wounds, as their body's natural defenses are compromised. Moreover, the disease accelerates the detrimental effects of poisons or toxins, leading to fatal outcomes.

Treatment

The only way to deal with this disease, is to attack the underlying causes that affect the individual, be it a toxin, a disease, or a wound as soon as possible and then, with divine magic or something similar, remove the Whitering curse

History

This condition is used to hasten the expiration of a follower of the twin gods who has accepted his fate, a cleric of the God performs the invocation during the Rite of Decay & Death 
on the other hand, some extremist followers use this sickness as a weapon, either injuring, poisoning, or intoxicating their target, and then conjuring the Withering Curse, drastically increasing the effectiveness of this type of murder.
