Beastkin
A species with few members, often lacking something to call their home, beastkin (or beastfolk) are magicborn creatures of either beastfolk parents or mutated from beasts that have somehow survived an immense amount of Magic. They most often can be found living their own lifestyle similar to their beast ancestors yet infused with the communal sense and intelligence of the civilized species.
They are a species of the most wide variety of subspecies, although there are subspecies which often go in-and-out of extinction.
