An age before civilization that we do not know much about.
Depictions and tales of our most ancient times talk about this Allquake. Did it really happen or was it just a tale they passed on? A planet-wide destruction that is hard to even comprehend. Yet some survived, but how? Can you even imagine how much life, how many species we lost?
Stone and metal was a part of nature for us, just like any plant you can find. All we had to do is learn how to mill these tougher plants correctly.
I can't believe Dwarves discovered Plate Armor long before they discovered pants. PANTS...!
Yep, the Dwarves of course engineered an alcoholic beverage that sated both hunger and thirst. What is with the priorities?! THEY STILL HAD NO PANTS!
Deep under Agohold dali has found something truly beautiful, something that was worth hoarding, something that laid the foundations of our economy.
As the population of the Dwarves grew, so did the need for easier access to water, and better smell. For some unbeknownst reason they still didn't think that maybe having pants while building complex sewers where water is splashing all around is also a good idea. I truly do give up with these Dwarves.
The Age of Dwarves mainly revolved around the golden age of the Dwarves of the Region of Dwarovar.
This here is the age of the dalivár! The dwarovár is ours until the end of times and we won't let no vans take it! We will rule every hol and there will come a time when even the monsters will fear our might!
Aul dana is a deep pit full of lies and greed. The dali can only overcome it and find truth with the shining light of the danar!
We dug to deep and greedily in Brovahold. We should have known better. We have opened the wound of the world, the ground shook from there to Réskehold, and then the parasites emerged...
The gates of Krenhold stand tall. Many may think that building it served no purpose, that it was futile, and that nothing ever will stop the urok - and even if they're right, this tár here will stand long after we're gone. Let them remember that we defended until the last moment. That we Dwarves stood just as tall and proud as these gates until the very end.
Once the Empire of Dwarovar's golden age ended, the Age of Exploration followed. Many new nations have been born, we started writing down history, and our horizons and knowledge of the world has expanded vastly.
And there was a time when we dali thought we were free, but we were all mistaken! We have always been just prey to those above - and we thought we were worth something, but we were just a joke! Let us jest then, and welcome the world's end as we should! Each and every one of us is a jester, so let's embrace it!
We found ar zerrtain that is larger than what we have ever seen. Ar drezz that doesn't look like an gru-um creature of the tik-n tales. It's a ha of aiz.
Once the dali learned what the knivars did, they expected chaos to come once more as depths further below opened. They expected the same as in Brovahold. Thankfully the langs down below were too few and large to notice the intrustion.
We hereby sign a truce for 700 years, for war has no place in a world ravaged by a plague. On this very same day Réskehold fell, let no more dali fall, not until our common enemies have been slain. This very council will meet again in Athelor, and then we will govern not just ourselves, but our entire world to a better future!
This human has something so primal, so brave inside him... and those eyes let me tell you...
These human ladies are highly compatible let me tell you...
Alright let's calm it a little, humans.
You know Bertal, I like me a challenge.
The first clockwork device - a pocket watch - brought our world into new technological heights. This concept of gears and their intricate functions have gave us a period of rapid growth called the Age of Industry.
The entire Age of Industry is thanks to that one Human who was too lazy to visit one of the Hols to tell the time.
Many have died during their explorations, leaving behind treasures and trinkets that not only appreciated overtime, but also might carry a piece of history with them.
Before today, losing parts of your body meant that you were possibly no longer able to continue doing what you love. We have ended that, and for the right price you can get any lost part back - and even upgrade them if you do not like your current ones!
Something happened between the Leviathans, something that gave us their blood - and through it, their Magic could finally be accessed by us.
A piece of history, limited supply, and a nice shine to it - if that's not a recipe to success then stab me in the head.
When I heard that the child of the High Dwarf I was supposed to look after accidentally swallowed a piece of the High Dwarf's most valuable gem - I was mortified. And when I walked in and saw the little Dwarf glowing - I fainted. When the apothecaries woke me up and told me that my negligence caused something incredible to happen - I quit.
"Wait, so we could have just learnt it without having to risk dying?" - but then quickly replied the other. "Nah, I'd rather just die than having to learn all THAT. More symbols than families in Rovohold."
Look, it's either studying it for 20 years or spending some Danar on a scroll. I know my choice for sure...
We knew that faith in the Leviathans made us special, but the Black Knight of Göbenfort never belonged to the Loyalists. Her Magic came from within herself, like a demigod that walks the caverns. This brought new views into our Magology that proclaimed Magic gained separate from the Leviathans.
While Kobolds might have inherited the savagery of the Dragons, the Dragonborn seem to have gotten the intelligent side of them.
He knew of things we still don't understand today. Shame he was a Human and couldn't be with us longer.
It's always been slow and dangerous to transport goods between the settlements. With this new technology however we can transport not just goods, but anything and anyone, and there's no Bandit that can stop it in its tracks!
When you approach the pillar your veins expand and you feel yourself closer to Magic. This trance truly shows you the beauty of their blood as you rest on the soft pillow of pure magical energy.
I merely finished what I understood. I'll never forgive fate for taking my master away from us. This is the least I could do to show my respect.
Constant cold magic flowing in and through the houses, Zavell is a prime example of the peak of temperature control.
We have confirmed this plane of Souls theory of Rinbó, and can commune with it through Magic. Now the question remains, how many more planes are there?
The monsters disappeared, the leviathans died, and the age of civilization began. An age when the folk of Dali'en finally stood on top of nature.
We no longer have this need of distinction, it is clear that they are no different from us regular nobles. All this brings is trouble, no more Royalbloods I say!
Much respected Dreamwalker Council, the amount of activity and deals these ruanonians and bay merchants produce... we just simply cannot keep up.
How am I supposed to teach my students if they can't even afford the bloody crystal needed to cast spells?
There was nothing and no one stopping the imperials of Ruanon from enforcing their will on the world from then on. And when the gods returned and marked a new age - this age became not of their own, but of the empire. And not even they could change that.
The Age of Ruanon mainly revolves around the golden age of Ruanon and the Region of Ruano'rin.
I've known of them for a long time, I just assumed you all did too [...] I'll share my notes of course.
As more and more land is discovered, and with an evergrowing population - it becomes so much more important to reach a quick solution instead of getting lost in conflicting schedules.
Instead of wasting magical ink to write into scrolls, one could create a device that directly reads the runic language of magic and casts the spells. This very thought was the genius behind this breakthrough in automation.
They made an entire island float with this?
Wait yer telling me that I have to rebuild the entire train to use this? But I've worked half me life on the new model! Let me finish it or I quit!
It emerged from the sea, pulled by the Repelgil. They kept feeding it more and more until it reached the height they wanted. Their researchers probably worked years calculating how often and how much Repelgil must be fed so it continues its existence in the skies. I was shaken, just like the ground below me. A single thought raced through my mind - what might Yula think of this bold display?
For a year it stood daunting, unbothered by dali or storm... then it all crumbled. Our mastery of Repelgil is yet to be refined.
