Havaer Devilslayer
Havaer Devilslayer, Explorer of Hell's Gate, the Father of Magitech
Havaer was an Elf who started his life in the streets of Nightcastle at the crescendo of Violet Throne's inner turmoil. He was found by a local branch of a criminal organization called Orphans Gang - according to them abandoned as a baby - who then raised him as their own.
Proving himself an asset and capable of thriving in chaos he was later welcomed into an influential family of the capital, leaving the gang behind.
The family he was part of had a vicious debate with another that has managed to slay most of their members, then the surviving members were forced to escape the capital and try their luck of rising the ranks elsewhere. Upon discovering the tunnel to Hell's Gate they traveled down there, seeing that it was an unoccupied territory where they could rise as its rulers if they somehow managed to tame the heat.
Havaer kept a diary of his journeys, but there are several pages missing in this section.
Having bested this strange demon-like creature was no easy feat. We called it the thinking demon, the de-vil, and once we were done we have all taken the Devilslayer name in honor so that everyone knows we were the first to conquer them.Following their success the family has returned to once again fight for a position in Nightcastle, but not long after that the Blood Purge was proclaimed. Having been the only one to survive consuming Leviathan Blood from his family, Havaer decided to travel above the Underdark of Dwarovar to grieve away from familiar places. His diary ends here, but tales of his stay at various taverns of the Caverns of Dwarovar continued. According to historians he had several offspring during this time, establishing his Sorcerer's blood's survival in the next generation. He spent most of his life in the caverns above as a traveler that made his Danar through his sorcery. According to those he interacted with there was some sort of emptiness inside him when he used Magic. During this time he met Rinbó, and joined him as his apprentice in order to better understand how his Magic works. Following the death of the great Wizard he returned to Violet Throne, has spent years on developing Magitech, and thus became one of . Despite this great achievement of his he seemed to claim no credit for it, quoting:
I merely finished what I understood. I'll never forgive fate for taking my master away from us. This is the least I could do to show my respect.Following his fame and achievement many have joined his family, yet yearning to create something of his own he went down to Hell's Gate once again and founded Zavell - a wonderful one-of-a-kind example of Magitech that covers an entire settlement - as his magnum opus. The town was named after an old family member of his that died to the Blood Purge, and its workings took several centuries to decipher and understand. He died of old age, a particularly nasty case of Requiem that made him walk into lava.
