Lake Tianylla

A large lake in the center of Etherea, where the city of Araniae stands. The lake is divided into an upper and lower portion by tall cliffs, resulting in two huge waterfalls on either side of the city's island. A bridge passes over the lower portion, connecting the island to the lake's southern shore.

Lake Tianylla is home to a great number of creatures, both magical and mundane. The city's fishing is done primarily in the upper lake, where there's less disruption to the lake's smarter denizens. The lower lake is home to mermaids, panthrai, kelpi, and water sprites, among others.
