Morhillian
From beyond the Krigoth Mountains, in the southern-most part of The Great North, lies Morhiel, the birthplace of the Morhillians. Warriors who value honour and duty, Morhillians will solve their dispute in battle, blood feuds commonly last generations.

Culture
Major language groups and dialects
Morhillians speak their own dialect of Northern, Morhansk, known simply as Morhillian Northern to outsiders. They can communicate to speakers of other Northern dialects well enough, and those Morhillians living alongside or bordering other ethnic groups often pick up the different dialect well enough to be fluent.
Common Etiquette rules
Hospitality
When a guest is expecting to stay for a meal, it is polite of them to bring and offer a gift to the host, typically food or drink to add to the expected meal. Violence and badmouthing under a residential roof is considered incredibly bad taste, and hosts are expected to be more courteous to guests than their own kin.Funerary and Memorial customs
Funeral rites vary depending on the status of the deceased. The average person is simply buried by their family and/or friends in a grave, with a ring of stones around the grave. It is customary for each person attending to contribute a stone. Lords or Jarls have more extravagant funerals, typically buried alongside favoured possessions. Alongside the coastal regions where Morhillians first truly developed their culture, Jarls were buried under small upturned boats, like half-coffins.
Common Taboos
Murder
One of the highest crimes amongst Morhillians is murder, murder being defined as the slaughter of another humanoid outside of battle, or a duel where the conditions allow death. Even in battle, to kill an enemy who has surrendered to you, is to bring the title of murderer onto yourself. A murderer is stripped of all holdings, possessions and name, and declared an outlaw.Ideals
Beauty Ideals
Morhillians take great pride in appearance, and prize cleanliness and presentation. Intricate braiding of one's hair is popular, the more intricate and decorated the braiding, the more desirable. This appears to both head hair and facial hair.
