The Maximus Gulf

A warm water gulf, splitting the mid-East Coast of Darci in half.

Geography

A large body of water on the East coast of Darci. Starting in the plains of Rikosand, it empties into the great ocean. It is widely known that, except at the narrowest parts, when one is standing on one side, it is impossible to see the other. The water is it and it's feeding river bring make the area around it lush, even for the hot climet, thought the north is much more green than the south.

Fauna & Flora

It is known among those that sail it's waters that the Maximus is home to Sea Serpents. These relatives of dragons are mostly docile, thought may capsize a ship when surfacing. However, if angered by being run over by a boat or attacked, they are powerful beast.
MAximus Sturgeon

Natural Resources

A common Game fish is the Maximus Sturgeon. However, it's main economic value comes from it's deep penetration into the otherwise landlocked regions of Darci.
