Henne Epii

Legendary Chef, Remembered by many

A legendary chef, known throughout Olinthis and parts of Dysvoll for his extraordinary skills and work at the Bluewater Delight. He was one of the very best chefs in the world and excelled when it came to cooking with fish, something he had been taught by his parents when he was a boy.

Life

Henne was born in a suburb of Yeleni in 1498 ADF and grew up spending a lot of time in his parents' restaurant. The restaurant was located in the most frequented area of Yeleni, and there was about an hour on foot from their main residence to the restaurant.
He spent a lot of time on his own, and on walking back and forth to the restaurant on days when his parents were both working. However, on more quiet days at the restaurant, his mother would teach him the ways of cooking with fish. In his teenage years, he devoted much time to working in the Bluewater delight. His father had become frail and old, and could barely walk. Henne and his mom did most of the cooking, while his father served as the head of finance for the restaurant instead. His father eventually passed on.
Henne Epii took over his parents' beloved establishment in Yeleni when he was 31 years old, after the death of his mother. He ran it until his own death in 1565 ADF.
Before his death, he apprenticed his own daughter, Shilnae Epii, and taught her everything he knew. On his deathbed, he bequeathed the family business to her and told her to keep it safe. Shilnae and the Bluewater Delight were his pride and joy, and he died knowing that they would have each other.
