Viktor is an antagonist in the Alpha Saga books, though he is mentioned throughout the Bound Series. All of his goals align with Queen Alice of the Crisoburg Kingdom. He is the son of Navid Tyler and Daimusa Tyler, and had a younger brother named Dean Tyler. For a time, he was the Alpha Heir of the Shadow Lake Pack as his parents were the Alpha and Luna.

Viktor Tyler: "Why don't you hand over that little parasite and we'll leave this pack alone? I'm sure Queen Alice will be-"

Jack snarled as he looked deep into the eyes of the older wolf. His mate was not for sale. Nothing in the entire world would get him to betray his mate ever again, not after what the Moon Goddess made him do. Revenge was all he could taste on his tongue.

Jack McClain: "Like Hel I'll trust yar word!"

Viktor tsked.

Viktor Tyler: "Not so smart, are you now? Oh, well. It was nice knowing I had at least one descendant as an Alpha. Boys! Get ready to annihilate everyone in this pack. Save the vampire and the Alpha for me."

Viktor is a strange fellow. He has a strange habit of chuckling at inappropriate moments, such as when someone dies. At other times, he is a calm and serious, yet always quick to do something very out-of-the-box. Thus, the normalcy is to call him insane, but with a hint of calm. Insanity only started popping up after the death of his mate, Uma McClain, and since he was cast out of his home pack, Uma's death didn't affect him as he was no longer a true Alpha.
There are not many times when Viktor is happy, as that faded away when Uma died. He happens to gloat A LOT when he allows his happiness to peek out. Sometimes, he'll turn to mocking those around him, and physically torturing others when he becomes gleeful.
Sadness is another emotion Viktor knows how to suppress. Usually, this emotion only stirs on the anniversary of Uma's death. During these times, he can inconsolable and he may even lash out at those around him. It is best to avoid him for the next couple of days.
He can become quite irrational when angry, and may do something that causes whatever mission/plan he has to go out the window. Violent behavior and the tendency to kill anyone who gets in his way has a habit of backfiring. His temper is what led him to taking out the Jasmine Heart Pack for his own gain when he was ticked off that Queen Alice refused to let him kill Crown Prince Kěith Cheonsa when he had the chance.

Viktor was raised by Navid and Daimusa to be the next Alpha Heir with his younger brother always at his side. Dean was someone he wanted to protect, even if he couldn't stand his dad. As he grew older, Viktor put the pack and his little brother before anything else.
Then, on his seventh birthday, his mom was slaughtered at the hands of a group of vampires due to the Moonlight Expanse's war with the Itude Empire. What surprised him the most was how his dad did not die within two weeks of her death.
It wasn't until Viktor was thirteen that he started to research more into his family, confused as to why his parents weren't like true mates. That was the moment Viktor learned he and his brother were the result of incest and that his mother was actually the daughter of his father. Repulsed by this, Viktor tried to stand up to his father and keep Dean away from their father for extended periods of time. That all went down the drain as their father started beat Viktor. For three long years Viktor was subjected to daily beatings until he could barely move.
At the age of seventeen, Viktor started to notice that a new member of the pack was acting strange. He began to follow them around until he saw them using a "communication crystal" to contact someone from with the Blue Desert Pack and report what they found. Viktor took this matter into his own hands and revealed the truth in front of the the entire pack. But thanks to this new member having deep connections, Viktor's father turned on him and banished Viktor for trying to start a war with the Blue Desert Pack.
Now living all alone on the outskirts of the Deep Waters Region, Viktor began kidnapping she-wolves and raping them so that he could breed himself an army of loyal children to take against the Shadow Lake Pack and prove his authority while also getting rid of his horrid father. Around this time, his younger brother was made Alpha, and this drove Viktor further into his self-hatred. Thirty-seven years went by in a flash and Viktor had an ever-growing army by his side. His secret to stay young was drinking the blood of former Alphas mixed with the pollen from Luna flowers. For Viktor, his youthful looks helped him to travel between each of the territories, looking for more she-wolves to forcefully breed with.
Near the Winter Moon Pack, he learned of a plague terrorizing people. Only then was it a surprise that the male Omega reporting to him brought along Luna Uma McClain. He had finally found his mate. Viktor promised her a way to end the plague if she started visiting him more often. Uma agreed and the two began a secret affair behind the back of Alpha Carl McClain.

For years to come, Viktor kept his eye on the Winter Moon Pack, watching his bloodline with admiration. Then, he happened upon the future Queen Alice and some of her followers. Viktor enjoyed the newfound power she had and swore fealty to her so long as he could continue his mission to becoming the Alpha King. Together, they built the Crisoburg Kingdom on Shálmâne, which gave Viktor just the right amount ammo to destroy the Jasmine Heart Pack and take control over its territory.
Due to his crimes, Viktor has become infamously known as the "Black Heart," a terrorizing monster who will stop at nothing to get what he wants. Those who meet him better watch their backs.
