In the wake of the chaos, Callista found herself a captive, soon to be sold into the brutal world of slavery.
Her journey took an unexpected turn when the Ironjaw Reavers acquired her in one of their dealings. Recognizing her resilience and potential, Odessa, an enigmatic vampire among the Reavers, offered Callista a chance at a different kind of existence. In exchange for loyalty and service, Odessa granted her the dark gift of vampiric ghouldom. Transformed, Callista became a seductive charmer, informant, and exectuive assistant for Odessa's machinations.

A Hellen merchant, raided and sold into slavery, Odessa found use for Callista by offering her a deal as a ghoul.
