Recognizing her resilience and potential, Odessa, an enigmatic vampire among the Reavers, offered Callista a chance at a different kind of existence. In exchange for loyalty and service, Odessa granted her the dark gift of vampiric ghouldom. Transformed, Callista became a seductive charmer, informant, and exectuive assistant for Odessa's machinations.
