The Tawdry Bull
Nestled in the heart of Duskridge, The Tawdry Bull Inn stands as a testament to the village's unapologetic character. This establishment, with its rough-hewn timbers and a faded sign depicting a spirited bull, exudes an air of unpretentious revelry.
Exterior:
The exterior is adorned with a haphazard array of mismatched flags and flickering lanterns, hinting at the lively atmosphere within. A worn sign swings overhead, its creaking noise echoing the vibrant energy of the village. The cobblestone path leading to the entrance bears the marks of countless merrymakers.
Common Room:
Entering the common room, guests are enveloped in the clamor of laughter and lively conversation. The air is thick with the scent of hearty meals and the comforting warmth of a roaring hearth. Worn wooden tables and chairs, scarred from the revelry of countless nights, fill the space.
Bar:
The bar, a weathered counter with stools of varying heights, showcases an impressive selection of local and not-so-local libations. The bartender, a charismatic local with a penchant for storytelling, stands ready to serve up a concoction to suit any mood. The menu scrawled on a chalkboard boasts both familiar and eccentric drink choices.
Rooms:
Upstairs, the rooms bear names that reflect the inn's unabashed spirit. Quaint and unpretentious, each room offers a respite from the revelry below. Faded tapestries and well-worn furnishings tell tales of many a traveler's stay.
Courtyard:
The inn's courtyard is an extension of the lively common room, with sturdy wooden benches and tables scattered amidst colorful blooms. Patrons gather here to share tales, clink tankards, and partake in the exuberance that defines The Tawdry Bull.
Alterations
The Ironjaw Reavers' occupation cast a dark veil over the once-vibrant Tawdry Bull, turning it into a house of shadows, writing across the front in blood "The Bloody Bull." The lively laughter and cheerful melodies were replaced by the sinister whispers of patrons and the haunting cries of those trapped within its walls. The notorious raiders, reveling in their conquest, repurposed the establishment into a makeshift brothel, exploiting the captured villagers as unwilling participants in their debauched activities.
The atmosphere within the Bloody Bull became suffocating, tainted by the anguish of those forced to serve the desires of the invaders. The flickering candlelight revealed the faces of the enslaved, their eyes haunted by fear and humiliation. The walls that once echoed with camaraderie now concealed the silent screams of the violated. The Bloody Bull, now a twisted caricature of its former self, stood as a stark testament to the horrors inflicted upon Duskridge by the merciless Ironjaw Reavers.
History
The Tawdry Bull was burned down by Finn Reinman on the night of his embrace during the Ironjaw Reavers' occupation of Duskridge.
