A lush jungle full of untapped potential, Hrundar is home to many fantastical beasts and plants. Although the jungle is harsh and unforgiving, those that fight through the struggles will be rewarded with a beautiful land of old.

Geography

The Hrundarian Jungle: Hrundar is home to the most diverse and lush jungle in all of Dasani. Renowned far and wide, the deep forest is home to many native species of trees. The thick canopy lets little light reach the surface, allowing many nocturnal hunters to hunt at any time of the day. The near solid bush forces those that go off the beaten path to do so on foot, or risk losing their wagon to roots and mud.
Cliffs of Old: Hidden away in the denseness of the forest lays fantastical cliffs. Large waterfalls fall off of cliff faces where many avian creatures, and monsters, make their nests. Fish in the small lakes below these cliffs offer a hearty meal for any traveler and the source of fresh water attracts many creatures to make their dens nearby. Because of this, the cliffs are known as an ignorant man's demise, as one without perception will fall prey to the dangerous carnivores lurking in the shadows

Ecosystem

Exotic and Pure: Hrundar is a shining example of a healthy ecosystem. The tall, old trees are the perfect place for any small creature to make their home and the soft, wet ground is the perfect place for animals to make their dens. The regular rainfall adds to the health of the flora and fauna, allowing habitats even far from a water source to thrive. All this, with the added plus of exotic plants and animals, makes Hrundar a thriving ecosystem.

Localized Phenomena

A Land of the Past: The continent of Hrundar is one of the oldest and most distinct of Dasani. For quite some time, the continent was a danger to even expedite due to the harsh waters around the land. However, the curious of Dasani prevailed and what was found was a lush world from creatures of the past. For unknown reasons, Hrundar is home to a number of creatures that have gone extinct in other regions, including the tyrannosaurus rex, dodo bird, and thunder lizard.

Fauna & Flora

Fantastical Flora: The flora of Hrundar is the most exotic and beautiful in Dasani. Beautiful large flowers dot the trunks and branches of the enormous, ancient trees that make up the jungle. Medicinal herbs sit in the mud around the small bushes that make up the forest floor as vines creep along the ground. However, Hrundar's flora is as dangerous as it is beautiful. Giant carnivorous flytraps pull unsuspecting creatures into their toothy maws and windpipe crushing vines turn the unwary into a life lost. Due to this, even the most rugged natives of Hrundar will not journey too far off the beaten path in fear they will be lost to the forest...
Flourishing Fauna: Hrundar's fauna is as exotic and pure as its flora. Beautiful elk jump through the forest as canaries sing a sweet song in the ear. Small rodents dart through the underbrush trying to escape the dangerous, agile leopards that prowl the thicket. Hrundar's fauna truly is a beauty to behold, but it is also a danger to be surrounded with. Conniving carnivores sit in the darkness waiting to pounce on the unexpectant, and the faint roar of a tyrannosaurus turns the legs of any journeyman to jelly.

Natural Resources

Wood: Hrundar's wood is known as the best in Dasani, for good reason. The ancient trees offer solid, yet not impenetrable, wood that is used in the foundations and support of many homes in Ruitis and Kojark.
