Vokona

Vokona (pronounced Vo-ko-na) is the Goddess of Shadows. She was bought by Dygnera in secret, and is often the patron of thieves and spies. Knowing what human nature was like, even in the utopia that she created, Dygnera would never be able to stop the darker side of the humanoid races, and therefore decided, in her great wisdom, to have one Goddess watch over these baser parts of the world; a Goddess which she could influence and control, allowing her to try and tame the worst parts. Vokona, however, was just as deceitful as planned, and ignored most of Dygnera's influence, becoming worthy of her title; the Shadowlord.

Worship

"I beseech thee, Mistress Shadowlord. Bestow upon me thy elusive grace and subtle prowess." - a prayer often recited by thieves before undertaking a heist.

Those who worship Vokona are often quiet about it, for fairly obvious reasons. She is the patron to those who prefer a more shadowy lifestyle and can often find themselves on the wrong side of the law, even if they are on the side of good. There are often idols and other paraphernalia of Vokona spread across thieves guilds, and in some cases banks as well. Over time, she has inadvertently become the patron of wealth and money. The irony is not lost on anyone.

Champions

Vokona's champions aren't very well known, due to the fact that they keep themselves hidden and out of the public eye. Often, they are master thieves and assassins, and find themselves fighting for the right cause, even if it is against the order of law.
