Dragonborn

From the story many a legend has been born, how the Dragonborn came to be.   Many an eons ago, the dragons were in control. They roamed everywhere, took what they needed and scorched the rest. Eventually they grew tired and wanted to just sit on their fat belly and do nothing.   For this purpose they created the dragonborn from their own eggs. Instead of hatching a new wyrmling, to carry on in their name. They crafted magics to convert the wyrmling to a soldier of part man and dragon. These soldiers were born of their blood, but they didn't have all the powers the dragons had, and were only allocated so much power.   Eventually the corruption of man grew a seed of dissent in the dragonborn. They wanted to become their own master, and not beg and fall to another being.

Basic Information

Anatomy

The dragon recognised the functional abilities the humans came with, but found their structure, health and survivability insufficient. So they made the dragonborn in the image of humans, but with a better structure, more health and an increased survivability.   Amongst the upgraded features where bigger and stronger bodies, 200 lbs base weight. A harder scale skin/surface. Last a breath weapon to be reckoned with.

Genetics and Reproduction

Originally they were not designed to have their own reproduction cycle what so ever. Then nature and magic got involved and suddenly they did have their own reproductive cycle. There are little to no difference between males and females. as all were designed male. Every once in a long while the female lays an egg, which the male then comes to inseminate, spray his liquids over it.
To increase the likelihood of a female producing an egg is somewhat relative to be mated with a male. A female can still produce the egg if not mated with a male, but is surrounded with large populations or strong male pheromones (not necessarily dragonborn).
