Hammer Home

Hammer Home is a town scarred by history, a testament to both the enduring spirit of its people and the horrors they've faced. Once a bustling mining community, its fortunes shifted with the depletion of its mineral veins. The town adapted, turning to agriculture and river trade to sustain itself. Yet, the echoes of its mining past reverberate through its very foundations.   The Old Town, a collection of sturdy stone buildings, is a remnant of the mining era. Many of these structures bear the marks of the undead attack, with repaired walls and boarded-up windows. Contrasting this is The Green, a sprawling area of farmland, the lifeblood of the town's current economy. Fields of wheat, barley, and vegetables surround the town. The River District, a bustling area centered around the loading docks, sees constant activity as riverboats come and go, transporting goods to and from the town. On the outskirts, The New Diggings marks the Dwarves' renewed mining venture. The sight of dwarven machinery and the occasional rumble of explosions is a common occurrence.   The town's atmosphere is a blend of resilience and unease. The people of Hammer Home are a hardy folk, determined to rebuild their lives after the devastating attack. Yet, the shadow of the Lich Queen still looms large, and fear is a constant companion. The town is fortified, with watchtowers and defensive walls, a stark reminder of the horrors they endured.   The old mines, now reopened by the Dwarves, are a source of both hope and trepidation. They hold the promise of wealth and prosperity, but also the potential for new dangers. Rumors persist of strange occurrences in the depths, suggesting that the Lich Queen might not be entirely gone.
