In the frost-kissed realm of the Fae, where whispering pines stand sentinel and ice crystals shimmer like scattered jewels, dwells the Leanansidhe. Her silver hair, the color of moonlight on fresh snow, cascades down her back, framing eyes as blue as a winter sky at dusk. Their depths hold the wisdom of ages, gleaned from the secrets whispered by the wind and the raw power of winter.
The Leanansidhe was once a powerful member of the council that advised Mother Winter herself. Though not a queen on par with the likes of Titania or Mab, her magic pulsed with the chill of winter, weaving blizzards with a murmured word and sculpting rivers of ice with a touch. As counselor, she ensured a fragile harmony between the seasons, her voice a steady force amidst the ever-shifting balance of nature.
However, unlike some who chafed under Mother Winter's rule, the Leanansidhe's path diverged for a different reason. Recognizing the precarious dance between the seasons, she saw the value in forging a stronger connection between the courts of winter and summer. With her formidable power undimmed, the Leanansidhe chose to become an advisor to Queen Mab, the capricious ruler of the winter Fae. Now, she acts as a bridge between the two courts, a go-between who navigates the delicate diplomacy between frost and fire.
The glint of power still dances in the Leanansidhe's blue eyes, a testament to the formidable being she has always been. But a new purpose has tempered that power, a dedication to ensuring a fragile peace between the seasons. Whether she can maintain this balance or succumb to the inevitable conflicts that arise is a story yet to unfold.
What is an NPC
If you’d like to play, but want to reduce costs, then you can sign up as an NPC or Monster. If you choose to play as an NPC or monster, you may be given a role (perhaps more than one). You can specify a combat or non-combat role. You don’t have to choose a class and culture as an NPC, we will choose one for you. You will receive double experience points, standard starting gold, and are eligible for Royalty Points. You will also get an entry at half price.
THE PURPOSE
Monsters, NPCs, and Staff allow the LARP to run smoothly and help players who don't know exactly what they want to play, or that want to help, and/or need help with discounts to take part in the LARP.
The BIG Difference
between an NPC and an Adventurer is that an NPC’s primary job is to help the story move forward and to help players. NPCs fill jobs like healers, essential townsfolk roles, etc.
