Master Fleet Admiral

The highest attainable rank with in the Imperial Navy, and serving in command of Fleet Corps and the Defense Fleets in the Galaxy. A council of Master Fleet Admirals makes up the Naval High Command with one rotating through the position of Director of the Navy every decade. Each assigned to a Valkyrie Class Flagship, a Master Fleet Admiral is among the most individual powerful people within the Empire. Fewer than twenty Master Fleet Admirals are in the Empire at any given time, and most hold the title for several decades before retiring.
