Heimerahl

Heimerahl stands as a transcendent and mystical domain in the cosmology of Deabros, representing the final destination for enlightened souls. This ethereal realm, distinct from the physical world, is where souls that have been purified and judged find their ultimate peace or undergo a profound transformation. Regarded as a paradise or higher state of existence, Heimerahl embodies the culmination of spiritual journey and cosmic balance. Although the exact nature of Heimerahl is veiled in mystery, it is deeply ingrained in the religious beliefs and understandings of the afterlife among the inhabitants of Deabros, serving as a symbol of hope and eternal tranquility.   Since at least 522, it is known to contain two primary "locations" within it: the Afterlife and the Land of Dreams.

Land of Dreams

The Land of Dreams has descended into chaos since the disappearance of dreams and nightmares in the mortal plane. With Volthaarius nowhere to be found, inhabitants of the Afterlife assume it will continue to deteriorate. Not much is known about the Land of Dreams by those who have found a way to visit Heimerahl.

Afterlife

Paradise Fields

Seemingly a central location where many inhabitants seem to reside. At the very minimum, mortal visitors have reported back that members of the Thalantir live there. It is a near endless expanse of rolling hills, with grass that is ever about a foot tall. The fields are surrounded by an incredible ring of snow-capped mountains, which provide dozens of incredibly beautiful waterfalls, lakes, and hot springs.

Ring Range Mountains

A ring of mountains that surround and enclose the Paradise Fields. The fields are so expansive that one cannot see the entire ring from any one spot within the Fields. In fact, one would be hard pressed to even see the curvature of the Ring Range. The fact that it surrounds it has been relayed by inhabitants who have had discussions with those who have made time to explore.   The Ring Range is a popular spot for dwarves, who have taken to digging and constructing into the hard rock and creating home akin to those they had whilst still living.

Zenith Plateau

Though none have visited it, inhabitants have reported that the largest peak of the Ring Range is host to some sort of vast building, with huge pillars of stone and walls that appear to reflect the light from Heimerahl's three suns.
