Yosei'Fey

The Yosei'Fey refers to the triumvirate gods of the The Fey. Consisting of Daylee, the God of Emotions, Tellera the God of Sex, and Yva the God of Nature, the Yosei'Fey are worshipped to varying levels by the individual species of the Fey. Though the influence of such worship has begun to spread to other races, the Yosei'Fey are sacred and holy to the Fey.

Tenets of Faith

Embrace Emotions and Balance: Let not your emotions govern your actions, but instead, allow them to flow harmoniously within you. Strive for equilibrium, upholding the balance that Daylee embodies. Guard the Natural World and Embrace Change: The world has provided that which is needed, as Yva teaches. Guard and respect the natural world, while also understanding that change is a part of nature's cycle. Embrace change as an opportunity for growth.   Uphold Family and Unity: Home and family come first and foremost, reflecting the importance of unity within the Fey community. Just as you defend your home, protect the unity among the races of Fairies, Eladrin, and Gnomes.   Passion with Responsibility: Passion and revelry are wonderful, but dangerous when left unchecked, as Daylee warns. Embrace them with responsibility, honoring the celebration of life while ensuring it doesn't harm the balance.   Respect for Life and Creative Expression: As Tellera teaches, respect all life and the sanctity of creation. Embrace creative expression as a celebration of intimacy, trust, and the diverse facets of existence.   Adaptability and Inner Harmony: Like Yva's teachings, be as sturdy as the greatest oak while bending to the swiftest river. Find inner harmony in adapting to change and navigating life's challenges.   Care for the Village and Nature: Reflect the principles of Tellera by being part of a community that cares for its members and raises new life together. Extend this care to the natural world, as nature's changes are enduring and must be approached with caution.   Celebrate Trust and Intimacy: Embrace the principles of Tellera by viewing sex as a celebration of trust and intimacy, not a weapon. Let desire flow without shame and with reverence for the body's autonomy.   Defend Unity and Natural Harmony: Just as Daylee encourages defending your home, defend the unity of the Fey races and the harmony of nature, embodying the teachings of Yva.

Ethics

Sinful Acts

Excessive Self-Indulgence: Engaging in excessive revelry, passion, or emotions that lead to harm, either to oneself or to others, could be seen as sinful. This goes against the principle of responsible emotional expression taught by Daylee. Harming Nature: Deliberate destruction of the natural world, wanton waste of resources, or causing unnecessary harm to animals or plants would be contrary to the teachings of Yva, which emphasize harmony with nature.   Disregarding Family and Community: Neglecting one's family responsibilities or failing to support the community could be considered sinful. The unity and support among the Fey races are important aspects of their belief system.   Abusing Intimacy: Using sex or intimacy as a means to manipulate or harm others would go against Tellera's teachings of celebrating trust, intimacy, and respectful creative expression.   Uncontrolled Rage: Allowing emotions to govern actions to the extent that they cause harm or chaos could be seen as sinful. This disrupts the balance between emotions and rationality, which Daylee's teachings emphasize.   Ignoring Change: Rejecting necessary change or resisting natural cycles and transformations might be considered sinful. Yva's teachings encourage understanding and embracing the evolving nature of existence.   Betraying Trust: Breaking the trust of a partner, family member, or community member, especially in intimate matters, would contradict the core values of trust and unity celebrated by the Yosei'Fey.   Seeking Power over Harmony: Pursuing power or dominance at the expense of natural balance, family unity, or emotional well-being could be seen as a violation of the Yosei'Fey's principles.   Abusing Nature's Gifts: Exploiting the resources provided by nature without respect for their sustainability or without giving back to the environment could be viewed as a violation of Yva's principle of respecting and guarding the natural world.

Pious Acts

Harmonious Celebrations: Organizing or participating in celebrations that honor the changing seasons, cycles of nature, and the unity of the Fey community. These celebrations would emphasize joy, togetherness, and respect for the environment.   Nature Preservation: Engaging in efforts to protect and restore natural environments, such as planting trees, cleaning up natural areas, and supporting sustainable practices that minimize harm to the ecosystem.   Supporting Family and Community: Taking an active role in supporting family members, friends, and community members in times of need. This could involve offering assistance, emotional support, or participating in communal projects.   Mindful Emotional Expression: Practicing emotional awareness and regulation, ensuring that emotions are expressed in healthy and responsible ways that do not harm oneself or others. This includes fostering empathy and understanding.   Respectful Intimacy: Engaging in intimate relationships that are based on trust, consent, and mutual respect. This involves treating one's own body and the bodies of others with reverence and care.   Balanced Change: Embracing change as a natural part of life, adapting to new situations while maintaining core values of family, community, and emotional well-being.   Cultivating Unity: Fostering unity and cooperation among different Fey races, promoting understanding and harmony within the community.   Creative Expression: Engaging in creative activities that honor the natural world, emotions, and intimacy. This could involve art, music, dance, or storytelling that reflects the teachings of Tellera, Yva, and Daylee.

Worship

Nature-Centric Rituals: Worship often takes place in natural settings, such as lush forests, serene meadows, or by flowing rivers. These settings are considered sacred and provide a direct connection to the domains of Yva, the Goddess of Nature.   Seasonal Celebrations: Followers of the Yosei'Fey would gather during significant points in the natural cycle, such as solstices, equinoxes, and other important celestial events. These gatherings celebrate the changing seasons and acknowledge the interconnectedness of all life.   Emotion-Focused Reflection: Worship involves contemplation and reflection on one's emotions, relationships, and personal growth. This may include meditative practices to help followers understand and regulate their feelings, guided by the teachings of Daylee, the God of Emotions.

Sects

The Sensual Ascendants

A sect of Tellera devotees that elevate physical intimacy above all else. Followers of this sect celebrate promiscuity and preach the detachment of the emotional and spiritual dimensions in relationships. The Ascendants believe that the path to enlightenment is at the peak of physical pleasure and that different partners may reveal a new path to divinity.

Yvan Chosen

A group of Yva worshippers who place a strong emphasis on the teachings of Yva. Yvan Chosen are hostile to overuse of natural resources and the construction of cities. They encourage absolute respect for nature's gifts.

Yosei Covenant

Fey who believe the relationship between the Yosei'Fey and the Fey is sacred and specific to their people. They assert that the deep connections to nature and emotions are innate to the Fey people and do not resonate with the other races. The argue that incorporating the teachings of the Yosei'Fey into the lives of non-Fey races dilutes the essence of these teachings and leads to misunderstanding. The Covenant works to prevent Yosei'Fey teachings from being twisted or altered by outsiders who lack the necessary connection with nature and emotion. This sect of worshippers does mostly keep to themselves to ensure their doctrine remains pure and unaltered to the influences of the outside world.
