Legendaries
Legendary animals an are essentially rare colour variations of existing animals. Tracking, hunting and skinning them is about more than just proving your hunting prowess, though. You’ll get some fancy new duds and some valuable Trinkets once you take their remains to the Trapper Gus.
However, hunting them will drive them into extinction. To prevent this from happening one can alternatively sedate the animal instead and take a sample to Harriet Davenport. By doing this you might miss out on a cool outfit but at least you'll be compensated with some coin and the knowledge you've saved a species from possible extinction. They're divided in 4 major groups based on the colour of their pelts.
