Tree Speaker Zanikasys Whistlecraft

Zanikasys Whistlecraft was never a people person, always preferring the company of forest creatures above the council of elders. As such she follows the will of the animals, which doesn't necessarily reflect the will of the Forest-Gnomes, yet as the forest-voices always find a balance between nature and people this is merely an instance of the Treespeaker tending to the Nature side.
Zanikasys always looked to her ancestors for guidance, like many of her kin commonly do, especially to her grandmother. This is often seen as a strength in Forest-Gnome society, yet the The United Gnomish Ridge saw this as an opportunity to take The Silent Mounds without bloodshed and war. In return for the remains they'd captured, the area once dedicated to the dead was given over to the Rock-Gnomes, and Zanikasys, as well as many of the older members of The woodland Voices agreed to these terms, despite their high cost.
