Congel

Congel was the westernmost Power of Old, consisting of modern day Nobleon and Orchus prior to Kadamitas. It was said to be the most volatile nation, operating under a Stratocratic government that valued military power and combat prowess above all else. Though this may make for a warmongering nation in the present day, at the time it was a comfort to the world to know that someone was continually protecting them from whatever may happen.
Congel was the strongest nation during Kadamitas, with relatively low reliance on deital power. This is not to say they were untouchable, however, as many of their strongest were, in fact, under divine guidance. As such, Congel split into two major sects during Kadamitas, the Leonin and Anthro populations migrating North for the safety of familiar savanna and desert territory that had long been known to hold residual leyline deposits, and the Orcish and Goblish populations moving South to the jagged peaks and mountains that created natural barriers between them and the new inhabitants of The Wilderlands.
Congel was home to several racial populations including Leonin, most Orcish and Goblish races, and Kitsune.
