The High Order

The High Order is the grouping of the twelve oldest and most powerful gods who control aspects of Deoryüm. Much of their history and more specific information of them has been wiped completely clean by the calamity that occurred 500 years ago, Kadamitas. What is left in the public view is few and far between, and rarely sensible, but there are some basic things known.   The High Order is primordial in nature, as they are representations and manifestations of basic powers and aspects of Deoryüm. The 12 Gods are rarely understood in motive or action, as they exist above even the Celestial Plane. That being said, what is understood is that they do not control each facet of their domain, but rather are representations of these facets. For example, the High God of Dark Dherg does not control the night or darkness as a concept, but rather is a manifestation of it. They have some influence over said things, and can grant worshipers powers related to them, but the world will not be plunged into sudden night because they are upset.   Several organizations exist that worship the High Order exclusively, and even more that dedicate themselves to a single power within the High Order, but they have been noticeably rarer ever since Kadamitas. The few that still hold real power are the Holy Bastille of Leukos' Godly Council, dedicated to Leukos, the Cult of Ominkana, worshiping Khao, and the Powers of Alche, which utilizes alchemy to demonstrate their devotion to the High Order as a whole. Clerics, Paladin, and other religious individuals both inside and outside these organizations often claim that they feel a physical pull from their chosen god, though it is impossible to tell what this pull may mean or do.   The 12 Deities within the High Order are as follows:
  • Representing Light: Leukos
  • Representing Dark: Dherg
  • Representing Fire: Fyrinh
  • Representing Water: Whdri
  • Representing Earth: Jorfi
  • Representing Air: Lopt
  • Representing Void:Vacuus
  • Representing Æther: Aithir

  • Representing Life: Liba
  • Representing Order: Ordo
  • Representing Chaos: Khao
