Azmasanmanne
Azmasanmanne (Eastern Mountain People) are an ethnic group of the Great Eastern Mountains between Chessa and Senyon. The Azmasanmanne originated in the mountains around the current cities of Senyosa and Chessyosa, derived from the original people of Chessa living around the enormous Chessa Sea. Azmasanmanne tribes eventually migrated through the pass in the Great Eastern Mountains into the area that is now northeastern Senyon. The Azmasanmanne people were (and are) known as formidable, skilled warriors. They drove away hostile Orkrim from their settled areas and displaced Dwarvirim and Elvirim clans and villages. Azmasanmanne warriors eventually conquered all of what is now northeastern Senyon, establishing a kingdom there they named "Taiko Da Song," the Great Sacred Empire. Eventually, that kingdom became what is now known as Senyon, though the Azmasanmanne people living within Senyon often still call it Taiko Da Song. Many of the most prominent noble families of Senyon are Azmasanmanne people, including the Imperial Family of the Great Sacred Empire, the Yixing-Jiumin family.
Naming Traditions
Feminine names
There are no definite rules for feminine names among the Azmasanmanne people. Girls are sometimes (as in the case of the princesses of the Imperial Family of the Great Sacred Empire), named using a root syllable from their father's given name plus a number indicating birth order, e.g. Emperor Yixing-Jiumin Jinsen's daughers are, in birth order, "Jinyat," where "yat" is the number one in the Sudkou language, "Jintu," where "tu" is the number two, "Jinsam," where "sam" is the number three, and so on. This style of naming is used primarily by more traditional noble families; rarely among the familiies of commoners.
Masculine names
There are no definite rules for masculine names among the Azmasanmanne people. Boys are sometimes (as in the case of the princes of the Imperial Family of the Great Sacred Empire), named using a root syllable from their father's given name plus a syllable implying power or ability of some kind, as in Crown Prince Yixing-Jiumin Jinhai. As for girls, this style of naming is used primarily by more traditional noble families; rarely among the families of commoners.

Ideals
Beauty Ideals
As a people with a long history of martial culture, the Azmasanmanne people value skill, strength, and ability, so boys often are trained in martial arts from an early age and are also well educated. Those that are skilled in martial and academic arts are seen as attractive. Feminine beauty ideals are more complex. Among royalty and nobility especially, young women are taught "feminine" arts - sewing and other needlework, painting, flower arrangement, tea ceremonies, and so on, and are discouraged from pursuing other interests. Delicate features, flawless skin, and a slender figure are considered beautiful. However, the martial history of their culture is valued among women as well, and some girls train as martial artists and become highly skilled. Those girls that pursue martial arts and become masters are also considered attractive and are sought-after.
Over the centuries, as the Azmasanmanne people have become mixed with Senmanne, martial beauty ideals for young women have been deemphasized in favor of feminine beauty ideals more like those of the Senmanne.
