Mukleshtoyel
Along the shores of the Black Dragon Sea, Daskar Lok, Okkudo Lok, and other bodies of water, rocks imprinted with the outline of fish can be found. In the Sudkou language, these imprints of fish are known as mukleshtoyel, or "fish of stone." There are many kinds of mukleshtoyel of different sizes and shapes, but in all cases. no fisherman has ever seen a living fish that is the same as a mukleshtoyel.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Given that all that is left of the mukleshtoyel is an imprint, their exact form is difficult to determine, but it is clear that many were bony. The shape and size of their bodies, heads, fins, and tails varied. All were essentially "fish-shaped," with a streamlined body and fins adapted for swimming.
Ecology and Habitats
The mukleshtoyel apparently lived in both lakes and oceans, in warm and cold water. Some rocks with imprints of mukleshtoyel have even been found lying at the base of cliffs in the mountains. No one knows what to make of them.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Based on the shape of the mukleshtoyel imprints, they were similar to present-day fish and presumably ate similar things. Some of the mukleshtoyel imprints show prominent teeth; such mukleshtoyel must have eaten other fish or animals. Others have very small teeth; those must have eaten plants or very small creatures.

Uses, Products & Exploitation
Some people collect the rocks with mukleshtoyel imprints and display them as decorations. They are especially popular with the nobility of Da Therasti Okku. Some of the largest and most dramatic are carefully prepared and polished, then displayed on the altar of the Druikminster in some cities and towns.
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Stones bearing the imprint of mukleshtoyel have been found all over Derkomai, mostly along rocky outcrops around lakes and seashores; however, some have even been found at the base of cliffs in high mountains.
