The Helm at Highsun

The Helm is the local watering hole where locals gather to gossip, and where travelers stop for a warm, if not terribly fancy, meal.

Denizens

There's usually four people working during the Helm's open hours; a server for the top floor, two servers for the taproom, and the bartender.

Architecture

The wooden structure has seen better days.  Its walls lean, the glass in the windows are so dirty its impossible to see through them, even if the rusty iron bars didn't obscure the view. 
The taproom, on the ground floor, boasts a long bar, copper lanterns that cast a dim light on dark panneled walls.  A wide staircase leads up to the dining tables on the second floor, just as dim and dark as the taproom.
