Glacians

The Glacians are a race descended from the elementals of ice and frost. They embody the chilling beauty of glaciers and have a natural affinity for all things cold.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Glacians mostly resemble the race of their mortal parents, but they have minor physical traits that reveal their unusual elemental heritage. Glacians have a variety of skin tones, ranging from pale icy to deep ocean blue. They have wavy hair that is typically snow-white, and their eyes are always an icy blue.

Genetics and Reproduction

Like other immortal-blooded races, a glacian will retain the genetic traits of his or her original race when it comes time to reproduce. For example, if a glacian was originally an elf and mates with a human, their offspring will be half-elves. There is no evidence that Glacians have a higher chance of producing Glacian offspring themselves.

Ecology and Habitats

Because of their unique physiology, Glacians' habitat consists of regions with extremely low temperatures, such as the polar regions and snow-capped mountains. Their immunity to cold-related ailments allows them to thrive in these conditions. Given their immunity to mundane cold, Glacians may also make their home in areas prone to frequent cold snaps.
