Aislen - Merlin Sect

Aeslin are divided into sects by what they worship. The Merlin sect worships Merlin as the, "God of Magic". They memorize his day to day activeties and turn them into gospel. They pull meaning from inconsequential statements made out of hand. The NEVER forget and remember EVERYTHING the hear and see.

Mythology & Lore

Merlin is their god. They believe they are lucky enough to live in the presence of their god, and everything he does is recorded as Holy Writ.

Divine Origins

Aislen have existed for as long as anyone knows. This sect was begun when Merlin found a tiny family of Aislen worshipping a Blink Dog who ate one in front of Merlin. He noticed something odd when the mouse called out, "Hail, I become a sacrifice unto god!!!!" and several other mice enacted a pantomine of this occurring with other mice while singing.

Tenets of Faith

Wisdom can be found in any of the god's actions. Everything that is said or done in front of the Aislen is studied, disected by them, and turned into lessons for holy writ. Repeating previouslt known statements or information further examples it's importance.

Worship

Aislen keep a complicated calendar with more days in it then exist in a year, including multiple leap days which only occur every few years, and a few leap days which only occur every few weeks. Holidays are added based on some divine sense only they posess and always include re-enacting some portion of their god's life.

All Aislen are Priests of their respective god.
