Nil Yeni Unification Ceremony

The Nil Yeni would often exchange several preadolescent (~20 days old) boys with other villages. This was seen as a sacred ceremony and was a way to bind two villages together and create an alliance between the villages.   This unification was seen as a binding alliance where the villages were expected to support each other during the unification time.   After 15 days the now men would be allowed to return home, or they could join the other village permanently in an other ceremony called Nil Yeni The Joining
